Balkh: Nearly 13 Tons of Food Items Distributed to 437 Vulnerable Families

The ARCS distributed nearly 13 tons of food items to 437 vulnerable families in various districts of Balkh Province and several districts of Mazar-e-Sharif City.

The assistance was provided with the support of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under this aid package, each family received 10 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of beans, and 9 kg of biscuits to help meet part of their food needs.

The ARCS, in cooperation with its national and international partners, strives to distribute assistance through food assistance programs to vulnerable families based on their needs and works to make an effective contribution toward improving their food security.
