Kabul: Afghanistan International Bank Hands Over 430 Blankets to ARCS for Flood-Affected Families in Nuristan

Afghanistan International Bank handed over 430 blankets to the ARCS to support families affected by the recent floods in Nuristan Province.

The assistance was handed over by Zabihullah Jalandari, Head of Procurement of Afghanistan International Bank, to Mr. Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS.

During the handover ceremony, the ARCS Vice President expressed gratitude to Afghanistan International Bank for its humanitarian assistance, stating that such support plays an important role in meeting the urgent needs of families affected by natural disasters.

He assured that the donated blankets would be transparently and fairly distributed to eligible flood-affected families based on needs assessments.

In cooperation with its national and international partners, the ARCS strives to deliver timely emergency humanitarian assistance to people affected by disasters and to ensure effective coordination in addressing their urgent needs.
