The number of aid assisted by the Afghan Red Crescent has reached 2800 families In Uruzgan province
The Afghan Red Crescent Society has reached aid to 2800 headless, drought- affected & displaced families in the center of Uruzgan province.
This assistance was started on 7th of January, in which 500 families received aid on 7th of January, 8500 families received on 8th of January, 900 families on 9th of January and 550 families received aid yesterday 10th of January.
The aid was provided by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The assistance included 50 kg of flour, 24.5 kg of rice, 7kg of beans, 5kg of sugar, 2 kg of salt, 1kg of green tea, 1 packet of BP5 biscuits and 10 liters of oil.
