The Biography of His Excellency Sheik-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar The Acting General President of ARCS and Ex-Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum
Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar the son of Al-Haj Mawlawi Sayed Akbar Delawar was born in a religious family in Logar Province in 1341. He got his primary education under the guidance of his father in Logar Province and later moved to Peshawar, Pakistan with his family. There he started higher studies in Islamic Science and successfully completed higher education at Darul-Ulum Haqqania Akora Khattack.
After the graduation, he dedicated his life to serve the noble religion of Islam and started working as a teacher in various institutions in Pakistan including: Himayat-ul-Islam Wa-al-Jihad Peshawar, Al-Jamia Al-hadiyah, Jamia Al-Rasheedia Peshawar, Jamia Al- Ashrafia Peshawar, and Jamia Islamia Numania Spin Jumat Peshawar. Also, he was the head of Jamia Haqqanina Aminia religious school (Madarasa).
Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar is a prominent member of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and worked in vital political and local posi tions. He was appointed as the acting minister of mines and petroleum by his Highness the Supreme Leader (Amir-ul Momenin) of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on 9th of Qaws 1400.
During the first government of Islamic of Emirate of Afghanistan he has served in the following positions:
1. General Consul in Peshawar
2. Ambassador to Islamabad
3. Ambassador to Riyadh
4. Member of Political Commission and Office.
5. Director of appeals of court in Kandahar and west eastern zone and Deputy Judge of Supreme Court.
6. Member of the political office of IEA and negotiating team with the U.S in Qatar.
7. Being a member of negotiating team with the ex-administration of Kabul was his last position.
It is noteworthy, Besides the official languages Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar is fluent in Arabic and now serves as the Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent Society.
