Memorandum of Understanding Signed between Afghan Red Crescent Society and Al- Khidmat Foundation of Pakistan!

Today, on Sunday, 6th of March 2022 Maulvi Mati-ul-Haq Khalis, the Acting Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and the Pakistan Al-Khidmat Foundation for the treatment of children with heart in hole disease in Kabul The Al-Khidmat Foundation was signed by Prof. Dr. Hafiz-ur-Rehman in the presence of Mr. Ghulam Habib Hussam, Director of International Relations of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Dr. Saleem Bahramand, Director of Health Services and representatives of Al-Khidmat Foundation of Pakistan.
The Acting Director of Afghan Red Crescent Society, Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis thanked the representatives of Al-Khidmat Foundation during the signing of the memorandum.
These are the difficult days that Afghanistan is going through, especially the children with heart disease, whose treatment requires very high cost so we cannot help the needy families, he said.
The Acting Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society assured the Director of Al-Khidmat Foundation that the Red Crescent would use due diligence and transparency in identifying children with heart disease and would identify those who are really needy and poor.
He added that so far more than 7000 patients have registered their names with this society and they are waiting since long time to receive any response. Hence, you’re this positive attempt can really help the needy and poor people.
On the other hand, the director of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Prof. Dr. Hafiz-ur-Rehman said "The number of sick children indicates that one out of every five babies is born with congenital heart disease, most of whom do not have access to health care due to poverty. We are partnering with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in this regard."
