Khost: 7 Tons of Food Items Distributed to 100 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 7 tons of food items to 100 flood-affected families in the provincial capital of Khost and the districts of Zazi Maidan, Bak, Alisher, Sabari, Gurbuz, Nadir Shah Kot, Mandozai, and Tani.

The assistance was provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. Under this assistance, each family received 70.5 kg of food items.

The assistance provided to each family included 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of rice, 5.5 kg of sugar, and 5 kg of beans.

The assistance was distributed to help meet the short-term food needs of flood-affected families and reduce the difficulties they are facing as a result of the floods.

The ARCS, in cooperation with its partners, strives to deliver timely food and other essential humanitarian assistance to families affected by natural disasters, based on their needs and priorities.
