Kandahar: AFN 4 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 400 Vulnerable Women

The ARCS distributed AFN 4 million in cash assistance to 400 vulnerable women in the ninth district of Kandaharuj City as part of the fifth round of its cash assistance program.

The assistance was provided with the support of the ICRC, with each woman receiving AFN 10,000.

The assistance was distributed to help reduce the impact of food shortages and economic difficulties on the women and their families.

As part of the same program, similar cash assistance is scheduled to be provided to these women in the coming and final month of the program.

Through its humanitarian assistance, the ARCS strives to help vulnerable families meet their basic needs during periods of economic hardship and reduce the pressures resulting from food shortages.
