Kandahar: AFN 4 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 400 Vulnerable Women

The ARCS distributed AFN 4 million in cash assistance to 400 vulnerable women in the ninth district of Kandahar city as part of the fourth round of its cash assistance program.

The assistance was provided with the support of the ICRC, with each woman receiving AFN 10,000.

The cash assistance was provided to help reduce food shortages and economic pressure faced by the women and their families.

Under the same program, similar cash assistance is scheduled to be distributed to these women over the next two months.

Through its humanitarian assistance programs, the ARCS strives to help meet the basic needs of vulnerable families and support improvements in their food security and economic conditions.
