Panjshir: 19 Tons of Food Assistance Distributed to 250 Returnee Families

The ARCS distributed 19 tons of food assistance to 250 returnee families in the provincial capital and the districts of Shotul, Rokha, Anaba, and Hesa-e-Awal in Panjshir Province.

The assistance was provided by the Turkish Red Crescent, with each family receiving 76.3 kilograms of food items, including 50 kg of flour, 5 kg of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, 1 kg of green tea, 800 grams of tomato paste, and 500 grams of biscuits.

The assistance aims to help meet the short-term food needs of returnee families.

Through its humanitarian programs, the ARCS provides assistance to returnee families to help them meet their basic needs.
