Nangarhar: 3.5 Tonnes of Food Items Distributed to 49 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 3.5 tonnes of food items to 49 flood-affected families in Bati Kot District of Nangarhar Province.

The assistance was prepared with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, through which each family received 50 kg of flour, 5 litres of oil, 5.5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of rice, and 5 kg of beans.

These families had been affected by severe floods some time ago, and they received this assistance to meet their short-term food needs.

During the distribution of the assistance, the beneficiary families thanked the ARCS and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for their support and called for the continuation of similar humanitarian assistance.

The ARCS, in cooperation with its partners, strives to provide timely food and other essential assistance to families affected by natural disasters according to their needs and to play an effective role in reducing their difficulties.
