Three-Day Workshop on Strengthening Integrity and Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy Commences

A three-day training workshop titled “Strengthening Integrity: Draft Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy” commenced at the headquarters of the ARCS. The initiative, financially supported by IFRC, is being attended by staff members from the Departments of Finance, Internal Audit, Staff Affairs, and the Independent Control Unit.
During the opening session, Mawlawi Mohammad Naseem Ahmadi, Director of the Internal Audit, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the Islamic perspective on the spiritual and societal consequences of corruption, along with preventative measures. He urged the participants to avoid all forms of corruption, fraud, and negligence, performing their duties with sincerity, integrity, and dedication.
The workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the pivotal role employees play in combating corruption and fraud, the detrimental effects corruption has on institutions and personnel, and the mechanisms available for reporting corruption to relevant authorities.
