The Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, during his visit to Qatar, met with representatives of the embassies of Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, the International Federation and representatives of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
During the meeting, humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, transfer of funds for better humanitarian services and many other issues were discussed in detail.
The president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society called on international and charitable organizations to provide more assistance to Afghans in this difficult time. He assured the representatives of the countries that their assistance would be distributed to the needy in a fair and transparent manner.
