The ARCS distributed livelihood assistance to 100 earthquake-affected families in Dara-e-Noor District of Nangarhar Province with the aim of promoting economic empowerment and self-reliance.

This assistance, provided with the support of the Danish Red Cross, included the distribution of three pregnant goats, along with related vaccines and medicines, to each of 99 families. One family, which had experience in tailoring, received tailoring equipment instead.

These families are expected to be able to generate sustainable income in the future and improve their economic conditions through this support.

The ARCS strives to create opportunities for sustainable income generation and self-reliance for families affected by natural disasters through livelihood and economic support programs.
