Kabul: Afghan and Qatar Red Crescent Societies Discuss Strengthening Humanitarian Cooperation

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, ARCS Vice President, held an introductory meeting with Mr. Baha Al-Najoumi, Head of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in Afghanistan, and discussed the importance of strengthening humanitarian cooperation between the two national societies.

Hafiz Azizur Rahman welcomed the Head of the QRCS and highlighted his extensive experience in humanitarian services. He expressed hope that, by drawing on his experience, Mr. Al-Najoumi would play an effective role in mobilizing humanitarian assistance for Afghanistan and supporting people in need. He also described the humanitarian services of the former head of the QRCS and his efforts to cooperate with the ARCS as commendable.

Mr. Al-Najoumi expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of cooperation between the QRCS and the ARCS and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to further expand humanitarian services.

The meeting also covered strengthening humanitarian cooperation between the two national societies, supporting people in need, and expanding humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.
