Logar: Humanitarian Aid Provided to 40 Flood-Affected Families

ARCS delivered vital humanitarian assistance to 40 families affected by recent flooding in various villages of Arzi district, Logar Province. 

Each family received a food package consisting of 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of sugar, 1 kg of macaroni, 5 kg of beans, 1 kg of pasta, and three packs of biscuits. In addition, a non-food package was provided to each family, which included five blankets, a set of kitchen supplies, a water storage bucket, laundry detergent, handwashing soap, and a hygiene kit.

Among the affected, 18 families whose homes were completely destroyed by the floods were also provided with tents.

Further, two families received financial assistance after tragically losing their loved ones, with several other members sustaining injuries.
