The General President of the ARCS, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, and Vice President Hafiz Aziz-ul-Rahman met at the ARCS Central Headquarters with Mr. Jan Jessen , Ms. Claudia Peppmüller, and other members of a delegation from Peace Village International to discuss the treatment of patients in need and the expansion of healthcare cooperation.

The meeting focused on the treatment of patients who receive care inside Afghanistan with financial support from the foundation, as well as those who are sent to Germany for specialized treatment.

Representatives of Peace Village stated that, with their financial support, 79 patients will receive treatment in Germany, while another 135 patients will receive treatment inside Afghanistan.

The General President of the ARCS thanked Peace Village International for its cooperation in providing treatment to sick children from underprivileged families, providing medical equipment for the Cardiac Hospital, and supporting the activities of a mobile healthcare team established with their support. He called for further expansion of this cooperation.

Mr. Delawar said that thousands of children with congenital heart defects still need treatment. He added that the ARCS is working to construct another building alongside its Cardiac Hospital to increase its capacity for surgical operations and provide specialized treatment for up to 25 children with congenital heart defects at a time.

Meanwhile, representatives of Peace Village International praised the healthcare and humanitarian services of the ARCS and pledged to mobilize support to strengthen the services of the mobile healthcare team and Cardiac Hospital, as well as to continue cooperation in other healthcare and humanitarian areas.
