Logar and Maidan Wardak: 12.7 Tons of Food Items Provided to 180 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 12.7 tons of food items to 180 flood-affected families in Logar and Maidan Wardak provinces.
Among these families, 120 were residents of different villages in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province, while the remaining 60 families were from Maidan Shahr, the center of Maidan Wardak province, as well as Saydabad, Jaghatu, Daymirdad, and Nirkh districts.
The assistance, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, included 70.5 kilograms of food items for each family, consisting of 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of rice, 5.5 kg of sugar, and 5 kg of beans.
The aid was provided to help meet the short-term food needs of flood-affected families.
The ARCS, in cooperation with its partners, strives to deliver timely humanitarian assistance and emergency support to families affected by natural disasters based on their needs.
