Laghman: Nearly 5 Tonnes of Food Items Distributed to 70 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 4.9 tonnes of food items to 70 flood-affected families in Noorlam Valley of Alingar District, Laghman Province.
The assistance was prepared by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, through which each family received 70.5 kg of food items, including 50 kg of flour, 5 litres of cooking oil, 5 kg of rice, 5.5 kg of sugar, and 5 kg of beans.
The assistance was aimed at meeting the short-term food needs of the flood-affected families.
The ARCS strives to provide timely humanitarian assistance to families affected by floods and to play an active role in helping meet their basic needs.
