ARCS Marastoon Inaugurated for Female-Headed Families in Paktia

A newly constructed ARCS Marastoon for the care and support of female-headed and vulnerable families was officially inaugurated in Paktia Province, within the Southeastern Zone.
The Marastoon was formally handed over for operation in the presence of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and Sheikh-ul-Hadith Enamullah Salahuddin, Deputy Governor of Paktia Province.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Delawar stated, “The inauguration of this Marastoon marks an important and fundamental step in supporting female-headed and impoverished families in the Southeastern Zone.”
He further emphasized that caring for female-headed families is not merely an administrative obligation, but a humanitarian and Islamic responsibility that carries great reward from Almighty Allah. He added that it is a matter of gratitude that another opportunity has been created for a number of vulnerable families to live in a suitable, safe, dignified, and comfortable environment, where their basic needs can be properly addressed.
The Deputy Governor of Paktia also delivered remarks, commending the activities of ARCS and describing the inauguration of the Marastoon as an important and valuable step toward the care and support of female-headed families.
It is worth noting that ARCS currently operates active Marastoons in Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Parwan, Kunduz, and Paktia Provinces.
