ARCS General President Evaluates Western Zone Marastoon and Mental Health Center

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, visited the Marastoon and Mental Health Care and Treatment Center in the Western Zone, Herat Province.

During the visit, he assessed the needs of vulnerable and female-headed families residing at the Marastoon and reviewed the quality of healthcare services for mental health patients, as well as the recreational facilities, kitchen, and living areas.

Mr. Delawar urged the center’s staff to ensure proper patient care, maintain good conduct, and keep the environment clean. He praised the ongoing services being provided to the patients.

He stated, “The ARCS will take necessary steps to expand treatment and comprehensive services to improve care for mental health patients and will strive to provide them with additional facilities.”

Such on-site visits and assessments by the General President of the ARCS play a vital role in understanding the actual state of services and enhancing their quality.
