On the 13th of August, Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed food items to 300 needy families in different villages of Shultan district in Kunar province. The aid was provided by IHH charity foundation of Turkey. Each family received; 50 kg flour, 10 litres oil, 10 kg rice, 10 kg beans, 10 kg sugar, 2 kg tea, 2 packets salt, 6 kg dates and 10 kg of macaroni.
