ARCS Vice President Meets Head of British Red Cross for Afghanistan

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, met with Mr. Jeremy Smith, Head of Delegation for the British Red Cross in Afghanistan, to discuss the provision of sustainable and continued humanitarian support for returnees.
During the meeting, Mr. Azizur Rahman expressed his appreciation for the assistance extended by the British Red Cross and emphasized the urgent need to deliver emergency aid and create livelihood opportunities for returnees before the onset of winter. He stressed that enabling returnees to meet their basic needs independently is essential.
In response, Mr. Smith commended the ARCS for its efforts and affirmed their commitment to supporting returnees. He pledged to continue providing essential assistance and expressed readiness to collaborate with stakeholders to help returnees recover and transition out of crisis situations.
