Khost: Distribution of AFN 8.25 Million in Cash Assistance Underway for 750 Internally Displaced Families

The ARCS is carrying out the distribution of AFN 8.25 million in cash assistance to 750 internally displaced families across various districts of Khost Province.

The assistance, provided with support from the IFRC, aims to help displaced families meet their urgent and basic needs. Under the program, each family receives AFN 11,000 in cash support.

As part of the ongoing distribution, AFN 2.2 million in cash assistance was distributed to 200 internally displaced families in Zazi Maidan District today.

On the first day of the distribution, 350 families in Alisher District received AFN 3.85 million in assistance. The final phase is scheduled for tomorrow, during which 200 additional families in Gurbuz District will receive AFN 2.2 million in cash support.

The ARCS considers supporting displaced and vulnerable families a humanitarian responsibility and strives to respond promptly to their urgent needs.
