Kabul: Ten-Day Workshop Concludes on Project Management and Professional Capacity Building

The ARCS, with the initiative of its PMER Unit and financial support from the Danish Red Cross, concluded a ten-day training workshop on project management, proposal writing, monitoring, evaluation, and accountability for a number of directors and staff members from the organization’s central headquarters.
The closing ceremony was attended by ARCS Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman and the Head of the Danish Red Cross in Afghanistan, Mr. Mohammad Al-Shamaa.
In his remarks, the ARCS Vice President expressed his appreciation to the Danish Red Cross for its cooperation and support in organizing the training program. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening staff professional capacities, improving affairs, and carrying out responsibilities more effectively.
He emphasized that capacity building of staff plays an important role in improving the quality of work. He noted that every employee should have the necessary knowledge, skills, and professional competencies related to their responsibilities in order to perform their duties effectively, accurately, and responsibly.
He also encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge and experience gained during the training in their daily work and use it to further improve the organization’s activities and performance.
