A six-day financial accounting training workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to 20 staff members from the Finance Department, Control Unit, and Central Hospital at the central headquarters of the ARCS.

During the closing ceremony, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs of the ARCS, expressed his appreciation to the Norwegian Red Cross for its financial support in organizing the training program. He stated that financial management serves as a fundamental pillar of effective management, transparency, and accountability in any organization.

He further added that all organizational activities rely on financial resources, and that corruption, negligence, or a lack of integrity in financial management can expose the entire organizational system to serious challenges and disruption.

He called on participants to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, commitment, and strict adherence to financial principles, and encouraged them to effectively apply the knowledge and skills gained from the training in their practical work.

The training workshop was conducted with the financial support of the Norwegian Red Cross and aimed to enhance the professional capacities of financial staff, improve the quality of financial accounting and accountability, and strengthen transparency in financial affairs and promote effective financial management.
