Infrastructure Project Worth AFN 8.5 Million Completed and Handed Over for Public Use in Kunar

The ARCS, with the support of the ICRC, has completed and handed over a cash-for-work infrastructure project valued at AFN 8,500,000 in Petaw village of Marawara district, Kunar province. The project, completed within two months, involved the construction of a 1,100-meter-long and 3-meter-high retaining wall.
Through this initiative, 113 skilled and unskilled laborers were provided with employment opportunities. Each skilled worker received a daily wage of AFN 700, while each unskilled worker earned AFN 400 per day.
