The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) started aid distribution process to 3000 needy families in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province of which food and non-food items were distributed to 500 needy families today. This eight pieces of aid provided by the International Federation contains 50 kg of flour, 24.5 kg of rice, 10 liters of oil, 5 kg of sugar, 7 kg of beans, 1 kg of green tea, 3 kg of salt and a packet of BP5 biscuits.

It has been decided that within a few days, the Afghan Red Crescent Society will distribute the aid to a total of 3000 needy families in Helmand province, of which 1500 families will receive aid in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province and the remaining 1500 will be divided into several districts.
