Two More Children Sent to India Under Agreement to Treat 15 Congenital Heart Defect Patients

As part of an agreement with India to treat 15 patients with congenital heart defects, and through the efforts of the ARCS leadership, two more children whose treatment was not available in the country were sent to India today in the second phase of the program.
Earlier, in the first phase, three children were sent to India. After completing their treatment, they returned to Afghanistan and reunited with their families.
The remaining ten children are expected to be sent to India in the coming phases for treatment.
It is worth noting that the Government of India is covering all treatment costs.
