On Tuesday, 4th of Rabi Al-Awwal, Afghan Red Crescent provided assistance to 300 families affected by the recent flooding in various villages of Koh Safi district in Parwan Province. These families have experienced significant damage to their homes, agricultural lands,gardens, and transportation equipment. To support them during these challenging times, Afghan Red Crescent distributed a total of 3,150,000 Afghanis as acash assistance. Where each family received 10,500 AFG, enabling them to address their immediate needs and begin the recovery process. Besides that, non-food items was provided to 106 floods affected families, where aid package included 138 tarpaulins, 498 blankets, 72 sets of 13-piece kitchenwares, 33 hygiene kits, 72 water buckets, and a tent.
