Paktia: Cash-for-Work Project Worth Three Million Afghanis Launched

The ARCS has launched a cash-for-work project worth three million Afghanis in Gul Ghundi village of Zazi Aryub district, Paktia province.
Through this project, 84 skilled and unskilled laborers will be employed for a period of one month.
According to the project plan, each skilled laborer will receive a daily wage of 800 Afghanis, while each unskilled laborer will receive 500 Afghanis.
During the project period, the laborers will carry out the construction of water channels, which, upon completion, will improve irrigation conditions in the area and enhance facilities for irrigating agricultural lands.
The project is being implemented with financial support from the ICRC, and its aim is to support vulnerable families through employment opportunities and improve the livelihoods of local people.
