The ARCS started construction of a clean water supply network for 163 families in Baz Mohammad village of Kohsan District, Herat Province.

Under the project, a 100-meter-deep well will be drilled, a water reservoir will be constructed at a height of 15 meters, and a pipeline network will be installed to supply water to households in the area.

The project is being implemented with the financial support from the ICRC and is expected to be completed within approximately four months.

Once completed, the project will provide 163 families with access to clean drinking water and help ease some of the challenges caused by water shortages in the area.

Through its water supply projects, the ARCS continues to expand access to clean water for communities in need.
