Herat and Kandahar: 6.3 Million AFN Provided to 600 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 6.3 million AFN in cash assistance to 400 flood-affected families in the districts of Shindand, Koh-e-Zor, Oba, Pashtun Zarghun, Kushk-e-Rabat Sangi, Guzara, and Kohsan in Herat Province, as well as to 200 affected families in Kandahar Province.

The assistance was provided by the IFRC, through which each family received 10,500 AFN.

The aid was distributed to help affected families meet their basic needs and provide humanitarian support.

The ARCS remains committed to providing timely assistance to families affected by natural disasters and helping address their immediate needs.
