During his ongoing visit, Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, visited the Northeast Zone Directorate, the Kunduz Provincial Branch, the newly constructed Marastoon building, and the center for the care and treatment of mental health patients.

The Vice President reviewed the activities and operational processes of these sections and provided necessary recommendations to officials to further improve service delivery.

He also toured various sections of the Marastoon and the mental health care and treatment center, emphasizing the importance of the effective use of available resources. He instructed officials to pay special attention to cleanliness, healthcare, and nutrition, while ensuring that patients are treated with full respect for their human dignity.

He described the treatment of mental health patients and the support of female-headed families as key priorities of ARCS, and stressed the importance of continuing and strengthening these services.

At the end of his visit, he listened to the views and challenges of officials and staff and assured them that necessary measures would be taken to address their concerns.
