Kabul: Six-Day Workshop on Strengthening Health Information System Begins

A six-day training workshop on strengthening the Health Information Management System has started at the ARCS central headquarters for 30 central and provincial health staff of the organization.

This workshop is being held with financial support from the ICRC) in Afghanistan.

At the opening ceremony, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs at the ARCS, welcomed the participants and said such training programs are important for strengthening the health sector.

He urged participants to make full use of this opportunity, work practically to improve the health information system, and apply the knowledge gained in their daily work.

The workshop will provide participants with essential knowledge on health data collection and reporting, improving data quality, analyzing reports, and the standardized use of the DHIS2 system.
