Balkh: Comprehensive Humanitarian Assistance Distributed to 1,000 Repatriated Families

Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and with support from the Republic of Uzbekistan and the IFRC, ten types of food and non-food assistance were distributed to 1,000 families who returned from neighboring countries in various districts of Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh Province.
Each family received 104 kilograms of food items, including flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, noodles, and macaroni.
In addition, winter kits for children, women, and men were provided to each family to help protect them from the cold weather.
It is expected that this assistance will help meet the short-term food and non-food needs of these families.
