The ARCS, with support from the IFRC, has provided AFN 15,750,000 in cash assistance to 1,500 earthquake-affected families in Sawkay district of Kunar province as part of its emergency humanitarian support. Each family received 10,500 Afghanis.
This assistance will help the affected families meet their daily and winter needs.
