Cash Assistance Distributed to 300 Earthquake-Affected Families in Samangan

During an official visit to Northern Zone, the General President of the ARCS,  Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, accompanied by a delegation, distributed AFN 3,150,000 in cash assistance to 300 families affected by the recent earthquake in Feroz Nakhchir district of Samangan province. Each family received AFN 10,500 in immediate relief.
During the distribution, Mr. Delawar extended his heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the earthquake. He further pledged that the relatives of those martyred in the disaster would soon receive an additional AFN 50,000 per family.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Delawar expressed profound gratitude to international humanitarian partners, particularly the IFRC, for their continued support to disaster-affected communities during both natural and man-made crises. He emphasized that such collaboration from humanitarian organizations and international partners serves as a vital source of support in the face of immense human suffering, enabling affected communities to regain stability and move toward greater self-reliance through these relief initiatives.
