QRCS and ARCS Joint Humanitarian Mission: Aid Distribution Set to Begin for Kunar Earthquake Victims

Mr. Khalid Shaheen, Head of the QRCS Disaster Management Department, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Osmani, QRCS Country Program Coordinator in Afghanistan, convened with Mr. Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, to review arrangements for the operation. The discussions focused on launching the previously pledged assistance for earthquake-affected families and on strengthening coordination between the two organizations.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of close cooperation and explored strategies for providing food, non-food items, and healthcare services to meet the urgent needs of those affected. They also made the necessary decisions to ensure the effective distribution of aid.
