IFRC to Strengthen Cooperation with ARCS on Refugee Support and Disaster Response

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, convened a meeting in his office with Mr. Joy Singhal, Head of Health, Climate Change, and Disaster Management for the Asia-Pacific Region at the IFRC, along with his accompanying delegation. The discussion focused on enhancing collaboration to support families without guardians, disaster-affected communities, and returning refugees.
During the meeting, Mr. Azizur Rahman highlighted ARCS’s ongoing humanitarian efforts and called for strengthened collaboration through impactful and sustainable projects aimed at addressing the challenges faced by displaced populations and promoting their self-reliance.
Mr. Joy Singhal pledged to expand their cooperation with ARCS, particularly in the provision of emergency assistance, support for refugee self-reliance, and the implementation of various projects to help address the existing challenges and hardship.
