Tuesday, July 1, 2025

In a coordinated humanitarian effort, ARCS and Selab Charity Foundation distributed food and non-food assistance to 200 repatriated and vulnerable families in Kabul.

The distribution event was held in the presence of Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting President of ARCS, Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, and Head of Selab Foundation Sayed Ahmad Selab.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Delawar thanked the Selab Foundation for its collaboration and described the effort as a testament to the integrity of humanitarian organizations. He urged national and international organizations, as well as business owners and philanthropists to contribute through ARCS to ensure assistance reaches those most in need.

Mr. Selab, the Head of the Foundation, praised the transparent efforts of ARCS for identifying deserving families and pledged continued support for future humanitarian efforts. He underscored the importance of aid from others in addressing the growing needs of the most vulnerable people.

Each family received a relief package containing 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, women’s clothing, laundry soap, blankets, footwear, kitchen utensils, and other basic essentials.
