Four Vocational Training Centers Inaugurated in Khogyani District and Nangarhar Marastoon to Support Widows and Vulnerable Individuals Through Small-scale Enterprises!

The Eastern Zone Marastoon of ARCS, with the financial support of Danish Red Cross, launched four vocational training centers to support small-scale enterprise development. 

The initiative targets 30 widows and vulnerable individuals in Chamtala area of Khogyani district, Nangarhar Province and 10 widows and vulnerable individuals in Zone’s Marastoon.The program offers vocational training in embroidery, crochet weaving, bag stitching, and tailoring.

Over a six-month period, these vulnerable and headless women will receive education from professional trainers at these centers and upon graduation they will be able to provide dignified livelihood for their children.
