Kandahar: AFN 8 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 400 Vulnerable Women

The ARCS distributed AFN 8 million in cash assistance to 400 women facing food shortages in the Ninth District of Kandahar city. The distribution took place as part of the sixth and final phase of the assistance program.

The assistance was provided with support from the ICRC, with each woman receiving AFN 20,000.

The assistance aims to reduce the impact of food shortages and ease the economic difficulties faced by these women and their families.

It is worth noting that, prior to this phase, AFN 20 million in cash assistance had been distributed to the same women over five months.

Through its humanitarian assistance programs, the ARCS strives to meet the basic needs of vulnerable families and help improve their food security and economic conditions.
