Paktia, Paktika, Parwan, and Kapisa: 119 Flood-Affected Families Receive AFN 1,249,500 in Cash Assistance

The ARCS distributed AFN 1,249,500 in cash assistance to 40 flood-affected families in Gardez city and the districts of Ahmad Abad and Zurmat in Paktia Province; 37 families in Sharan, the provincial capital and the districts of Mata Khan, Barmal, and Sar Hawza in Paktika Province; 24 families in Sayagird District of Parwan Province; and 18 families in Tagab District of Kapisa Province.
The assistance was provided by the IFRC, with each family receiving AFN 10,500.
The assistance will help these families meet some of their basic needs and ease their most pressing difficulties.
The ARCS strives to provide timely humanitarian assistance to families affected by floods and other natural disasters and help meet their basic needs.
