On 11th December, Mr. Mawlavi Noor Uddin "Turabi" Vice President of ARCS met Ahmad Jamal the representative of Kuwait Red Crescent Society and his delegation on humanitarian aid and health cooperation, in his office. In meeting, Vice Present of ARCS requested the representative of Kuwait Red Crescent to cooperate in the treatment of children suffering from cardiovascular septal defect and to send them to Kuwait for treatment. Mr. Turabi said that the number of children suffering from cardiovascular septal defect is increasing in Afghanistan, they shall be helped. He said that ARCS also perceives need in the treatment of psychological and disabled patients, thus charitable foundations as like Kuwait Red Crescent shall help ARCS; So that they could be treated inside and outside of the county. Mr. Mawkavi Noor Uddin "Turabi" said" ARCS provides health services via its mobile health teams in remote areas of the country, thus half of the budget of ARCS is consumed providing health services" As per his speech there is a dire need of expanding of mobile health teams; so that ARCS could be able to provide better services in this section. Mr. "Turabi" Vice President of ARCS said"Currently there are tens of thousands of vulnerable families in many areas of the country's provinces, it's necessary that in addition to foodstuffs they shall be helped with cash assistance and shall be provided with pure drinking water".
