Kunar Earthquake: ARCS Convenes Consultative Meeting with International Partners on Aid Effectiveness

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, convened a consultative meeting with Ms. Katharina Ritz, Head of the ICRC Delegation in Afghanistan, along with Mr. Joy Singhal, Acting Head of the IFRC Delegation in Afghanistan, to discuss the delivery of effective and well-coordinated humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the recent earthquake in Kunar province. 
During the meeting, the parties agreed that humanitarian aid must be tailored to the urgent needs of the earthquake-affected families, with the goal of alleviating their suffering and enabling them to quickly regain stability and return to normal life.
