Kandahar: 87 Tonnes of Food Aid Distributed to 750 Vulnerable Families on the Occasion of Ramadan’s Arrival

The ARCS distributed 87.375 tonnes of food aid to 750 vulnerable and impoverished families in Kandahar on the occasion of the arrival of Ramadan.
The assistance was provided by an Afghan businessman residing in Germany. Each family received 116.5 kilograms of food items, including flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, beans, green tea, and chickpeas.
It is expected that this assistance will help reduce the difficulties faced by these families by meeting their short-term food needs during the holy month of Ramadan.
