Kabul: Winter Clothing Distributed to 500 Repatriated Families

Thursday, January 22, 2026

The ARCS, with support from the IFRC, distributed winter clothing to 500 repatriated families in the 21st district of Kabul City to help them protect themselves from the harsh winter weather.
The assistance was provided in the presence of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and Mawlawi Sayed Ahmad Bahramand, Director of Marastoons.
During the distribution, Mr. Delawar emphasized that ARCS strives to deliver humanitarian aid tailored to the needs of poor returnees and vulnerable families, enabling them to stay safe from the cold and prevent various illnesses during winter.
He described this aid as crucial for addressing the urgent needs of repatriated families and assured that, with the support of partner organizations, humanitarian assistance will keep reaching returnee families in the future.
Each family received jumpers for men, women, and children, along with jackets, shoes, socks, shawls, and other essential winter clothing items.
