Kabul: Training Workshop on Accountability and Financial Accounting Begins for Finance Department Staff

A six-day training workshop on accountability and financial accounting has begun for 20 staff members of the ARCS Finance Department at the organization's central headquarters.

During the opening session, Hafiz Shabir Ahmad Usmani, Director of the Finance Department, highlighted the importance of the workshop, stating that enhancing the professional capacity of staff plays a vital role in ensuring the effective, transparent, and accountable management of financial affairs.

He urged participants to make the most of this opportunity to further strengthen their professional knowledge and skills.

The six-day workshop, which is financially supported by the Norwegian Red Cross, will provide participants with both theoretical and practical training on accountability, financial accounting, and other related financial topics.

Upon completion of the workshop, it is expected that the professional capacity of the Finance Department staff will be further enhanced, contributing to greater transparency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial affairs.
