General President of the ARCS, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, provided cash assistance of 50,000 Afghanis at the central headquarters to the head of a family from Kabul’s 12th district. The family lost four members when their home collapsed due to heavy snowfall several days ago.
During the handover, Mr. Delawar expressed his condolences to the family head and assured them that the ARCS stands by them during this difficult time. He also stated that the ARCS plans to provide cash aid soon to 21 other families in Khost, Kandahar, Maidan Wardak, Parwan, and Ghor provinces who also lost family members due to recent snowfall.
It is worth noting that ARCS rescue teams arrived promptly after the incident, transported the injured to the hospital, and, at the request of the family head, transferred the deceased to their ancestral home in Nangarhar.
