Kabul: ARCS Provides Cash and Food Assistance to the Family of a Blinded Former Soldier

Saturday, February 21, 2026

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, provided 20,000 Afghanis in cash and food assistance to a vulnerable family from Nangarhar Province.
The food package included flour, cooking oil, rice, chickpeas, macaroni, dates, and other essential items.
The head of the family, who previously served in the military, lost both of his eyes about five years ago due to an unexploded ordnance explosion and is currently facing severe economic difficulties.
Mr. Delawar listened closely to the family head’s concerns and assured him of further assistance in the future.
